Hello & Welcome!

We’re always excited to meet new patients. Our goal is to make you feel as comfortable as possible, and that starts here. We’ve prepared the following content just for you, to walk you through what to bring, when to arrive, what to expect, and our commitment to you.

What to Bring

Please bring the following items with you to your consultation visit:

  • Your dental insurance card for us to copy
  • Your driver’s license or ID
  • A written referral or x-rays, if your dentist has provided them
  • A list of your current medications

All patients under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.

When to Arrive

Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to complete the medical/dental health questionnaire, the patient information form, and the financial information form, if you have not previously done so. Be sure to take all routine medications prior to your visit, if applicable.

What to Expect During Your Consultation

Your first visit will be an examination and assessment of your case, including a review of information provided by your dentist. Typically, specialized diagnostic x-rays will be taken, so that your situation can be thoroughly evaluated and the ideal treatment plan can be determined. Your doctor will discuss your diagnosis and treatment options, and outline a solution that best fits your individual needs. We’ll take some time afterwards to answer any questions you may have about your visit, diagnoses, and treatment options.

What to Expect During Treatment

Treatment is performed using local anesthesia. Please contact our office before your appointment if you have any medical conditions that may affect your treatment. These may include: a heart condition, recent vascular episode, high blood pressure (we recommend testing at home prior to your appointment as a baseline), symptoms of fever, bleeding condition, decreased liver or kidney function, pregnancy, severe dental anxiety, conditions requiring pre-medication with antibiotic such as artificial joints, systemic illnesses, etc., or if you take any scheduled medications such as benzodiazepines, narcotics, or recreational drugs.

Our Commitment to You

We consider it an honor to care for your endodontic needs and greatly appreciate the trust you place in us to do so. Due to advances in the field of endodontics and related technology, a visit to the endodontist is not very different from having a tooth filled or being treated for other common dental procedures. Every patient is unique, and we’re committed to providing you with high quality endodontic care based on your individual needs. Above all else, we want to make your visit to our office a pleasant experience. We look forward to seeing you!
